Oktibbeha County Hospital is a modern, 96-bed acute-care facility with a wide variety of medical specialists on staff. State-of-the-art technology and equipment, and a caring, competent professional staff insure high-quality care. The community is served by a staff of some 90 physicians, a variety of consulting specialists, and several specialty clinics. The Wellness Connection, a total fitness facility with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, swimming pool, a well-rounded program of classes, and a trained staff to help individuals remain healthy and active, is located in the recently constructed OCH HealthPlex.

OCH is licensed for operation by the Mississippi State Department of Health and maintains accreditation from the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations. It is one of the state's first twelve Level III trauma centers.

The John C. Longest Student Health Center on the MSU Campus provides medical care to students, faculty, and staff. Staff physicians also see a limited number of private patients.
