Each year the Ambassadors select one of their own as the Ambassador of the Year, an honor that identifies an outstanding individual for truly committed and dedicated service to the Partnership and community. This year Meloney Linder was selected to receive the 2006 award, which was presented to her by Ambassador President John Crecink. She has been an Ambassador since the inception of the program in 2003 and is the current chair of the Chamber Advisory Board. Meloney is the marketing manager for Synergetics, where she oversees marketing and recruiting and works closely with the sales department. Meloney and her husband Eric, a professor at MSU, have two young daughters.
