RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS
Starkville's religious life is both sincere and diverse, with more than 80 houses of worship representing numerous religious denominations and independent congregations. Because Mississippi State University brings a constant influx of diverse nationalities, the community has adapted and accommodates almost all religious traditions. Cooperative interdenominational services are held during such special seasons as Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. The Starkville area provides an opportunity for enrichment and spiritual growth to all citizens. |
