The Greater Starkville Development Partnership and the local utilities have compiled a general purpose application to assist you in getting all of your utilities hooked up in a timely manner, upon relocating your family to Starkville. Many of the utilities will receive hundreds of applications each day from incoming students. Using the information provided on this form will help insure better service.

The utility offices listed below operate on a first come, first served priority. Please take a moment to read the stipulations for each company in these links. Each utility company has different requirements that must be met before service may begin.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICE
• Must provide proof of address for service to begin (rent receipt, lease/purchase agreement)
• Completed application; go to http://www.cityofstarkville.org/quick_links/city_forms/utility_service.pdf for printable form
• No credit cards accepted
• Deposits: $165 for renters, mobile homes, temporary service; $60 for homeowners
• Limited daily hook-up

Provides electric service OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS.
For information on your water association and garbage collection agency in the county, please contact your property manager.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICE

• Application must be completed. This can be found on 4 County website or by contacting the office.
• Fees: $25.00 membership, $25.00 connaction and a deposit ranging from $0 to $200.00.
• Must porovide a photo ID, Social Security Card and a lease agreement/rent receipt.
• Bank draft available.
• Credit/debit cards accepted.

• Come to office to apply in person; must provide photo ID at time of application
• Water and electric service must already be in place
• Someone must be present at residence when gas representative arrives to establish service
• Deposit: $85 for renters or mobile homes; $65 for homeowners
• $30 activiation fee required
• Credit cards and debit cards accepted for deposits and payments
• Bank draft and budget billing available
