Visit Starkville: CVB Sponsorship Program

The Starkville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), a member agency of the Greater Starkville Development Partnership (GSDP), released the 2010-2011 Sponsorship Program applications today.

Last year, the CVB allocated over $50,000 to local organizations and businesses hosting events that will ultimately increase tourism in the Starkville area. The application guidelines request that specific details be given about the event, including a project description, target audience, potential for economic return, marketing plan, and methods for tracking and measuring the project's success. The CVB Advisory Board will review applications and notify applicants of their award status within 30 days of the July 16 deadline.
