MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of the Oktibbeha Economic Development Authority is to facilitate job creation and retention in Oktibbeha County by procuring, developing, managing and maintaining property and facilities for new and expanding enterprises, by providing services to existing businesses and industries, and by actively supporting efforts to recruit new businesses and industries to Oktibbeha County.

 

 
 
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
 
VIKING RANGE
announced plans to construct a research and development center in Oktibbeha County.
 
Groundbreaking ceremonies will be held in late August for the RALPH E. POWE CENTER FOR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY. The "Powe Center", a $3.5 million, 25,000 square foot technology business incubator, will include a 5000 square foot clean room; 20,000 square feet will replace current 3000 square foot Golden Triangle Enterprise Center in the Mississippi Technology Center.
 
NEW 200-ACRE INDUSTRIAL PARK
is expected to open at the intersection of Hwy 12 & the new Hwy 25 bypass in late fall of 2002
