The National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center of Mississippi State University is housed in a beautiful 53,000 square foot facility completed in 1990. The Center conducts integrated research in advanced microelectronics and computational engineering. Techniques are being developed that will allow simulations of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, electromagnetic, and other physical field phenomena. The Center was established with assistance from the National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense.
