The Golden Triangle Enterprise Center opened in late 1996 as a joint project of the Oktibbeha County Economic Development Authority, Tennessee Valley Authority, Mississippi State University, and the Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (State of Mississippi). GTEC provides new and start-up high technology businesses with favorable lease rates and technical and clerical support services along with high-speed Internet connection and access to MSU and NASA laboratories. Several lease packages are available to meet the needs of new companies. Lease rates include office space, utilities, common areas (kitchen, conference rooms, courtyard use, etc.), janitorial service, and Internet access. Fax and copier machines are available.

Admission to GTEC is by application, and forms are available by calling (662)320-3990 or by e-mail to info@gtec.org. Applications are reviewed by a screening committee and recommendations are made to the GTEC Governing Board. Tenants are required to submit a business plan within three months of occupancy and comply with provisions of the Tenant Handbook.
