Super Bowl weekend is almost here, and the Broncos and Panthers aren’t the only teams getting ready for a heated contest. This Saturday, the Starkville Convention & Visitors Bureau presents our annual SOUPer BOWL, and ten of your favorite local restaurants will be vying for bragging rights!
The 2016 SOUPer Bowl will be held on Saturday, February 6, at Dawg House Sports Grill from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to taste-test the original soup recipes from our participating restaurants and vote for the hottest, and our judges will determine the coveted awards for Best Soup.
With the Mississippi State Bulldogs playing on Saturday at LSU, soup taste-testers will also enjoy watching the basketball game on the big screens at Dawg House. Awards will be presented during halftime.
We are very excited to have a few new restaurants join the competition this year, making SOUPer Bowl 2016 one of the best yet. Here is your preview of the soups our restaurant participants are cooking up…
