Mississippi’s College Town is excited to host another great weekend of Mississippi State Football! We always knew Santa was a Bulldog fan, and this weekend he’ll be in town to help us usher in the holiday season with Christmas Open House and Cookies with Santa on Sunday! Check out what’s happening in Starkville in our game weekend guide, including lots of great information and helpful links for your best game weekend yet… HAIL STATE!

Our local retailers feature tons of tailgating supplies, maroon and white gear, the latest fashions, and great items for your fall entertaining!

Before and after Saturday’s Homecoming contest, be sure to plan time to enjoy Starkville’s many local shops and restaurants! Our Starkville Main Street members always roll out the maroon carpet with sidewalk sales, dining and drink specials and more! This Google Map will serve as your walking tour guide!

PARKING DOWNTOWN:
Free parking in several lots as well as 2-hour curbside in Downtown Starkville for easy access to shopping, dining and transit to the game.

Your game weekend with Texas A&M will cap off with great shopping with your favorite retailers on Sunday! You’ll find wonderful holiday merchandise, MSU gear and more to get you into the holiday spirit. In addition to an afternoon in our exquisite boutiques for Starkville’s annual holiday shopping kick-off, the kids can have a personal audience with the man in red during Cookies with Santa. Stop by the GSDP Welcome Center at 200 East Main for photos on Santa’s lap! Tickets are $10 per photograph and include a professional photo session with Santa, professional high-resolution jpg for use in Christmas cards and Facebook, and cookie treats to-go!
