Starkville Restaurant Week Participating Eateries Announced: The Best of Mississippi’s Good Eats… Do Good

Starkville Restaurant Week (and a half) kicks off on Friday, March 13, and we are proud to announce that over 30 restaurants will put their culinary offerings on display again in 2015.  For 10 days — March 13 – 22 — these great restaurants will let their good eats do good for our community as restaurant patrons will have the opportunity to sample their favorites as well as cast their ballots for which of our top three charity finalists will receive $5000, awarded by grand prize charity sponsor, Cadence Bank.

The SRW 2015 slate of restaurants includes an impressive five eateries from among last year’s Mississippi Magazine reader-voted Best of Mississippi winners released each July. If your tastebuds have a hankering for delicious down home breakfasts and brunches, fresh deli sandwiches, or the best burger and sushi in Mississippi, you can enjoy the state’s top-voted offerings during Restaurant Week at Starkville Cafe, Restaurant Tyler, Newks, Mugshots and Umi.

However, with ten full days of eating and voting, don’t stop there! Our 2015 Restaurant Week participants also include a whopping 17 favorites listed among Mississippi’s top five in their categories. From coffee delights at 929 Coffee Bar and the daily blue plate from The Veranda to barbecue at Little Dooeys and pizza specialties from Stromboli’s, every time you eat out, you can sample one of Mississippi’s best as well as plenty of undiscovered favorites.

We are also pleased to welcome several new restaurants to our list of participants this year, including Aunt Marti’s Bakery in College Park Shopping Center, DawgHouse Sports Grill on Main Street, and The Biscuit Shop on Jackson Street.

Visit our restaurant page at StarkvilleRestaurantWeek.com to view the full list of participating eateries and get connected with them on social media to discover some of their menu offerings. It’s never too early to plan for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between snacks during Restaurant Week — March 13-22!
