Candy has been an ambassador for Greater Starkville Development Partnership since 2008 and her favorite thing about being an ambassador is the ability to “promote our community and all our good neighbors.”
Candy is the Executive Director at United Way of North Central Mississippi. At age eleven, Candy worked her first job as a neighborhood window washer and babysitter to “earn money to buy Nancy Drew Mystery books!”
As an ambassador, Candy has been to many ribbon cuttings, but her favorite one was for Eat With Us Group- Bulldog Burger Co Starkville.
Her favorite quote comes from Coach Vince Lombardi and he says, “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, nor a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.”
