Nurse Practitioner, The Family Clinic
Danielle Atchley is a board-certified nurse practitioner at The Family Clinic.
I was born and raised in Starkville and then moved away for 10 years. During my time in the big city of Philadelphia, I realized I was being called back home, STARKVILLE! Upon returning, I realized the immense growth, community togetherness, and connection with families and the college community was thriving-something I wanted to be the forefront of with innovative ideas to show all of the south, SEC conference, and the United States, that Starkville, MS, is the best college town-not only for students, but for raising a family and growing old with your family. From picnics and flying kites on the Drill Field, bike rides and hikes at the Refuge, plays at the Community Theatre, shopping on Main Street, Christmas parades, Pumpkinpalooza, brunch on Sundays at all our unique restaurants, Soccer games with the kids, and College World Champs-Starkville has activities for everyone!
Growing up, organizations in Starkville taught me the value of being the hands and feet of Jesus, and what it means to be a positive influence on others to encourage the same behavior. Therefore, I have a passion for being involved in serving the community of Starkville. A huge difference can be made in our community when many individuals come together for the greater good; this also encourages those from the outside looking in to come to Starkville to relocate to our community (because who doesn’t want to be a part of something GREAT!?). And, for me, serving the Partnership is the first step in this; the Partnership supports businesses with a joy and hope of growing Starkville with forward thinking. I hope to bring what I learned working with organizations in Philadelphia that propelled the city of Philly forward to Starkville, to encourage growth, joy, positive family experiences, and continue the mission of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
