Donna has been an ambassador for Greater Starkville Development Partnership for two years. She said, “My first real job was working for Mullins Department Store in Starkville, Mississippi.” Now, Donna is the Market President at Renasant Bank.
Donna’s favorite thing about being an ambassador is “the opportunity to meet and visit with all the new Partnership members by way of ribbon cuttings.” “Ribbon cuttings not only give us the opportunity to get to know new members better, but they also give ambassadors a chance to get to know each other better. We don’t always have opportunities like these to do so!” Her favorite ribbon cutting was at the The Montgomery B&B.
Donna’s favorite quote is, “Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, ‘oh shoot, she’s up!'”
Donna also wanted to include a statement, “Starkville is the best place in the world to live! Having moved away for 36 years, I can REALLY appreciate the beauty of a small town and close-knit community. We are VERY lucky!”
