Manager, Mitchell Eye Care
Jessica is the mother of two boys, Carter and Parker, who “keep her busy outside of work and are the true sunshine in every one of her days!” Back in college, her first job was at a small dress shop selling pageant and prom dresses. Now, she is the manager of Mitchell Eye Care here in Starkville.
Jessica has been an ambassador for Greater Starkville Development Partnership for one year. She said, “When we opened our business a little over two years ago, we were astounded by how the Starkville community shows up and supports each other.
Being a GSDP Ambassador has been the perfect way to join in that effort and become part of what has made our family feel so welcome in Starkville.” As an ambassador, she has been to multiple ribbon cuttings over the past year, but she really enjoyed the opening of Starkville Pregnancy Care Center’s new location because of how amazing it is to her “to hear about the great work they are doing to save the lives of so many precious babies and being the support that many young women are desperately needing.”
Jessica’s favorite quote comes from Thomas Paine, which states, “What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value.”
