Nina has actually been an ambassador for Greater Starkville Development Partnership from the beginning and loves “getting to know the ambassadors, the business people, and the businesses!” Her first job was a piano and organ teacher. Now, Nina is the owner and operator of Welch Funeral Home and has been for over 40 years!
With all of the ribbon cuttings she has attended, her favorite ribbon cutting was at The Flower Company. Nina’s favorite quote comes from Dr. Seuss and he says, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” She also wanted to include a thank you. “Thank you for the privilege of being an ambassador!”
