It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Mississippi’s College Town, and we’re excited to kick off the holiday season this Sunday with our annual Christmas Open House! Starkville will host a special holiday edition of our Bulldog Brunch & Browse special shopping hours, as nearly 40 shops open their doors on November 6 to showcase fall and holiday merchandise. We hope visitors and locals alike will join us Downtown and Around Town from 11am to 3pm, with many open for more extended hours.
In conjunction with Christmas Open House, the Greater Starkville Development Partnership will also host Cookies with Santa from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This favorite annual event offers an opportunity for kids to visit with Santa and make memories with professional digital photos. Tickets for Cookies with Santa are $10 each and included one professional photo per ticket, plus take-away cookies. Tickets may be purchased in advance.
