NEWS RELEASE: Greater Starkville Development Partnership Seeks Special Events and Projects Coordinator

The Greater Starkville Development Partnership (GSDP) is seeking to fill the role of Special Events and Projects Coordinator. This position became vacant following the promotion of Jennifer Prather to Director of Tourism.

The Special Events and Projects Coordinator is responsible for establishing and overseeing multiple special events in support of the GSDP which serves the Starkville Area Chamber of Commerce, Starkville Visitor and Convention Council, Oktibbeha County Economic Development and the Starkville Main Street Association.

Director of Tourism, Jennifer Prather, stated, “This position is absolutely integral to the success of the programs managed by the Partnership. The events that we produce not only support the education and sustainability of our business community, but also draw thousands of visitors per year to our city by showcasing Starkville’s thriving creative scenes. We are excited to find a motivated individual who is passionate about growing our current events.”
