Get your costumes and cameras ready! Pumpkinpalooza, presented by Chick-Fil-A Starkville, will take place on October 27th, the Thursday before Halloween weekend, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This annual event is fun-filled for kids of all ages — adults will love it too. There will be face painting, trick-or-treating, inflatable jumpers, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin racing, and more!
Starting off the night, the MSU Spirit Squads featuring Bully and cheerleaders will perform and be available to take pictures with candy-crazed kiddos. Their performance and showing will be at 5:00 p.m.
Up next, the Talledegourd 500 begins. Starkville’s newest pumpkin race will mesmerize and excite you! Participate or just cheer for your favorite pumpkin!
Throughout the rest of the night, take some time to browse the pumpkin patch, finding the best one to paint with a spooky design. There will also be locally grown mums for sale and sweet photo ops for your little goblins!
Once you’ve worked up a hunger from jumping on all of the inflatables, trick or treat to local nonprofits in your costume to fill up your treat bag. To add to your costume, stop by the face painting booth to make sure you are looking your spookiest before making your rounds for treats!
