With the weather cooling down, we are getting in the fall spirit here in StarkVegas! There are so many ways to enjoy the nice weather and all that comes with it in Mississippi’s College Town.
Tailgate and Attend a Home MSU Football Game

One of the best spots to enjoy all things fall for any age is The Farm. Located off of Blackjack Road, you can enjoy food and drinks from local vendors, meander through the corn maze, find your prized gourd in the pumpkin patch, play all kinds of outdoor games and enjoy watching games and more on the big screen projector! Starkville Community Market
Nothing says fall quite like fresh produce. Support local farmers and vendors to purchase fruits, vegetables, crafts, and other goods all while enjoying the community of Starkville. Join in on the fun at Fire Station Park from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
You can also find unique and enchanting fall plants and decor at the Oktibbeha County Co-Op, State Floral, Fleur de Lis, The Flower Company, and more.
Take Part in Downtown and Main Street Events
The Starkville Main Street Association hosts events throughout the year, but walking around Main Street in the breezy fall weather is a joyful experience all its own!
Some of the main events for the fall season are Sales and Ales presented by Bank of Commerce, PumpkinPalooza presented by Chick-Fil-A, and unWINE Downtown.
Other weekend activities throughout the season include Bulldog Bash and the Cotton District Arts Festival.
Aside from the many events such as fun runs, chili cookoffs, and live music, there is always a way to enjoy the sweet relief of fall weather after a Mississippi summer.
Starkville is home to many parks and outdoor activities. Take a walk, play a game of pickleball or just sit and enjoy the sunshine!
