Starkville Stand Up

Recent events have shown us, once again, that our nation continues to struggle with systemic racism and the consequences that follow. We at the Partnership know that the way to move forward for both our nation and our community is to show respect, dignity, and acceptance for all.

The Partnership and the local business community stand with our friends, neighbors, and Starkville Stand Up who have been affected in any way by racial injustice and police brutality.

Our small community reflects the rich diversity of our nation. We believe in the inclusive and equitable treatment of all people. Our community is at its best when everyone is positively engaged and equally valued.

We encourage everyone in our community to seek first to understand and then to be understood. A diverse community is the only means to a strong community.
