A lifelong bulldog supporter and a member of the State College Board (IHL), Parker knew he wanted to be a part of the bigger picture of Starkville and Mississippi State. They moved into Starkville in 2016 in order to have the small town feel and family atmosphere that Starkville provides.
Mac Smith, Director of Business Development, spoke about the ways that they are able to build trust with their customers. “I guess the biggest story is the many parents who have students at MSU that we have been able to help get their vehicle repaired who really appreciate the long distance relationship and trust they put in us.”
Smith said, “They like knowing there is someone here who is taking care of their son or daughter.”

Over the past six years, Parker CDJR has sponsored numerous events such as Coffee with a Cop, Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament, automotive classes for Boy Scout troops, pet adoptions with the Humane Society, and many others. They also serve as the main sponsor of the Rotary Rodeo.
Parker CDJR became members of the Partnership because of the opportunities that it provides for Starkville businesses.
“The Partnership has helped us become a solid family member of the community and stay in tune with what’s going on around town and at MSU through events like Business at Breakfast,” said Smith.
