Christmas in Starkville

The Holiday Season in Starkville features our unique blend of old-fashioned Christmas traditions and New South shopping experiences, all centered around a yearly theme. With annual events like Christmas Open House, Holiday Bazaar, and the Starkville Christmas Parade, there is plenty of Ho Ho Ho for everyone young and old! Merry Christmas from Starkville!

Our shops and restaurants Downtown & Around Town will be alive with the Christmas spirit beginning in early November, featuring delicious tastes of the season, eclectic offerings for under the tree and a wonderland of holiday sights and sounds centered around this year’s theme… Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Plus, you will not want to miss our unique shopping events that offer the best in holiday gifting options from hand-crafted specialties and homemade goodies to the latest in trend-setting styles for the wardrobe and the home. Mark your calendars for these great events!

2021 CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE

Enjoy an afternoon in our exquisite boutiques for Starkville’s annual holiday shopping kick-off.

2021 STARKVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE

Monday, November 29th
6 p.m. – Main Street

The Famous Maroon Band, MSU cheerleaders and a host of floats from community businesses and organizations create an old-fashioned Main Street Christmas experience centered around our annual theme. This year’s theme is “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” Click here to apply for this year’s parade.

Wednesday – Thursday, December 1st – 2nd

10:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Jumpstart your holiday shopping with hand-crafted items from over 75 vendor booths. Formerly the popular MSU Crafts Fair, the Holiday Bazaar has been delighting shoppers young and old for nearly 50 years now.  Don’t miss this opportunity to fine unique items for Christmas gifting and decorating from your favorite vendors!
